My clients describe me as:
I understand firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate life as a neurodivergent/gifted, queer individual since I identify as nonbinary and AuDHD.
Something to know about my approach is:
I approach counseling from an interpersonal, compassionate, and relational lens. The most important thing to know about counseling with me is that it is always non-judgmental and client-driven.
Together, we will:
In sessions with me, you’ll be accepted and I’ll illuminate your neurodivergent strengths. I help neurodivergent and gifted folx find sensory coping skills and adaptations that work for them. I also bring in tools from IFS, ACT, and DBT.
I specialize in working with people who:
I am passionate about walking alongside neurodivergent, gifted, LGBTQIA+ adults and couples working through understanding their identity and relationships. I also work with parents of neurodivergent, gifted, and/or LGBTQIA+ kids.
I became a therapist because:
I believe it is powerful and healing to have a therapeutic relationship with someone who understands the experience of feeling "different."
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I have found that neurodivergent clients in particular find virtual counseling to be more comfortable and as effective as in person counseling.
More about me and my practice:
When I’m not seeing clients, you can pretty much always find me dancing at my studio (hip hop, jazz, contemporary, all the things, you name it, I’m there!). I also enjoy trying new vegan restaurants and local coffee shops, and hiking with friends.
