I prefer non talk therapies. The brain wants to heal, and knows how. Sometimes we get in the way. I prefer EMDR and Sandtray for healing and my co-therapist has fur and four paws.

Who have failed with other counselors, I am not a talk therapist, and I have 29 years of counseling experience. I work with other counselors and first responders. I understand the dual life of law enforcement officers to stay safe.

I became a therapist because:

I noticed so many people slip through the cracks, unnoticed. I wanted to notice them, and help them learn to be heard and seen.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

Anonymity. There are other professionals in the building as well as a laundry mat and a restaurant. No one has to know why you enter my building

More about me and my practice:

I began in juvenile justice, moved up to adult corrections, and then out into community mental health. I went into private practice to make my clients the most important part, not the company paycheck.
