I use the lowest effective dose of medications for the shortest amount of time clinically indicated. I do my best to prescribe non-addictive medications when possible.

I specialize in working with people who:

work long hours, struggle with anxiety and stress, and feel burnt out while trying to maintain friendships, possibly drinking too much alcohol and wondering if you would benefit from the relief that medication can provide along with psychotherapy.

After years dedicated to teaching medical students and supervising residents, Dr. Self is excited to embark on a new adventure in private practice.
