My clients describe me as:
Affirming, supportive, community and social justice focused
Something to know about my approach is:
I am trained in EMDR therapy, a technique that helps your brain process events that have left you feeling stuck or experiencing negative beliefs of yourself. Most importantly, my approach to therapy is to create a plan based on your needs and goals.
Together, we will:
Explore what is showing up for you and how it impacts your daily life. We'll practice different techniques to help you feel more at ease, confident, and comfortable in your capacity to face life's daily stressors.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are children of immigrants, first generation students, and folks navigating oppressive systems. I help the people I work with identify their triggers, ease feelings of anxiety, and together we create a space that gives room for healing.
I became a therapist because:
From a young age I saw how trauma impacted my loved ones, as an adult, I know generational trauma is real but so is generational healing.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
We are centrally located and welcome you into an office space that is inviting, you will find plants, fidget toys, and art materials to doodle.
More about me and my practice:
I am passionate about social justice and bring this lens to my practice. For my people that love astrology as much as I do, I am a Sagittarius, Pisces rising.
