I became a therapist because:
I was a classroom teacher, career counselor and academic advisor. I became a counselor to meet needs that were not being addressed in these fields.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
East Texas is the buckle of the Bible Belt. Many grew up in church and are on a journey that may be different than their community, and I understand.
