I use Cognitive Behavioral therapy(CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT). The latter involves skill building and application of skills to alleviate stress to regulate thoughts and emotions.

I use my skills as an intuitive empath to tailor my style to meet each client’s individual needs. I utilize a combination of CBT, EMDR, Expressive Arts therapies, EFT, mindfulness techniques and other person-centered therapies.

I use humor when appropriate and don't assign random "homework" just because in therapy - I do however recommend activities, books, and podcasts for use in between sessions when appropriate and specific to a client's goals.

Many of my methods come from the CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, also including mindfulness and relaxation skills. I'm also trained in EMDR. I help my clients create resilience and learn skills and strategies that last for life.
Clients will learn coping skills to help them to understand their self better. Having the client understand theirself and how their triggers affect them in mind, body and spirit is helpful in understanding anxiety and patterns of behaviors.

The methods I incorporate into treatment are EMDR, Direct Neurofeedback, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, EFT, Breath work, CBT. I use what works best for each indiviual client. I strongly encourage clients to build community.
