Through the therapy process my hope is that individuals can find a space where they experience truly being met where they are at in their life. My goal is to create a warm and engaging therapeutic relationship that allows for openness and honesty.

I approach therapy through a non-pathologizing, trauma-informed, and harm reduction lens and understand that the client is the expert of their own experience. I view the clinical relationship as a tool for healing.

An Integrative approach uses multiple approaches to help clients. In most cases, this means a combination of psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and humanistic therapies. The approach is flexible and based on the needs of the client.
Many of my clients are the children of immigrants, like myself. I enjoy helping people explore their own culture and gaining a better sense of their values. I understand how cultural issues can impact mental health and I have ways to help.

I enjoy using active techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I also enjoy using techniques aimed at helping you increase your awareness and acceptance, such as mindfulness. I am practicing under supervision by Rebecca Fitzgerald, LCPC.
