I focus on mindfulness and acceptance. That doesn't mean we sit idly by. It means we practice self-compassion, set realistic goals for where we are in life, and make time for self. This is essential for women, as caring for others can wear us down.
Together we will explore how your emotions, relationships, past trauma or even addiction and how it affects everyday life. We will practice coping skills like grounding techniques, relaxation, exposure therapy, healthy communication and more.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify any negative thinking patterns and help to challenge those thoughts. We will work to identify healthy coping skills to manage what ever you are faced with.

I have a nondirective therapeutic style. I let my clients lead what they want to explore and talk about in session. I include the creative process and art making as an important tool for self expression and explorations of emotions.
