create a safe and non-judgmental space where you are free to explore your inner world. We will work to understand your experiences--your difficulties, fears, desires, dreams, and fantasies. Together we will increase your ability to adapt.

imagination is an invaluable part of therapy, whether you are a child or an adult. I currently run the Fellowship, City Counseling Center’s therapeutic Dungeons and Dragons group for children ages 9 to 13. I work with adults, teens, and kids.
Work to identify strategies and techniques that can begin to offer some relief. We will also begin to alter problematic/less functional narratives that negatively impact your life. Self-compassion is a skill that I work on with almost every client.

It is my responsibility to pay attention to the big picture- noting common themes that come up. Often concerns that we have present differently across different domains (work, home, etc.) but the emotional underpinnings and impact can be similar.
My specialities include trauma, anxiety, depression, issues related to self-worth/self-esteem, and interpersonal dynamics. There is often a focus on childhood and how our past effects our present and future, but also emphasis on creating change.

I predominantly practice through a psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and person-centered lens, I also believe in utilizing an eclectic and integrative approach to therapy, incorporating a variety of theoretical orientations and treatment modalities.
Find new ways to address the suffering that brings a child & their family or an adult to speak with me, talking about what can't be talked about elsewhere and pursuing what gives you life, what allows for the next steps to be taken on your pathway.

I am interested in the unique way children & adults express their troubles: in bodily expressions, turns of phrase, slips of the tongue & dreams, exploring how they build relationships with others and those important endeavors in their lives.
Together, we will collaborate to create a treatment plan that is specific and focused on creating behavioral change. Throughout therapy you will learn the skills to overcome your current issues and better cope with them in the future.

My approach is both direct and caring, with a touch of humor to keep our conversations relaxed and engaging. I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable and supported, without taking things too seriously.
