I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), executive functioning coaching for ADHD, and mindfulness based approaches. Boundary work is another big portion of my practice.
We will talk about the major pivot points in your life (including the one bringing you to therapy) and how these experiences have shaped your story, added branches to your life. We'll discuss your relationships, your hopes, and your fears.

I put you in the driver's seat, rather your goals and values are forefront in our work together. I guide you on how to trust yourself and set your own path so you feel empowered and aligned inside and outside of therapy sessions.
I use a strengths-based approach so together we will take a look at what pulls you forward in life, and ways you have been resilient. We will draw on your strengths to figure out a way to get you where you want to be.

You will receive unconditional positive regard, no matter what you are dealing with. I use talk therapy so you can expect a conversational approach in sessions. I draw from evidenced-based therapies to guide all of my sessions.
Focus on YOUR goals. Sometimes that means less of something (anxiety, sadness, anger, confusion, frustration, toxic relationships), and sometimes more (clarity, self-acceptance, confidence, boundaries, support, strength, communication).

My approach to working with you will be unique to your needs and goals and to who you are as a person. My focus is on cultivating mental health, not treating mental illness.

Clients should feel open to share their thoughts and/or feelings without any type of judgement. They should also feel like they are "being heard" with whatever challenges that they are facing. In addition, clients need to feel supported as well.
