I strive to help people to recognize their own strengths and learn how to utilize them. I also provide a safe place to heal from emotional wounds and strengthen your relationships. I utilize EMDR, Gottman, Emotion-Focused Therapy, among others.

My approach is collaborative and integrative. This allows me to partner with my clients to meet their individual needs. I believe in evidence-based care and therefore use CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, and SFBT in my work with clients.

I am not the therapist who will just "umm hmm" and "How does that make you feel"...I'm much more direct than many therapists, though I will go at your pace. I am EMDR certified but I do not use EMDR with every client if it is not needed or desired.
