It's unique to each person. I don't use the same skills or approach with everyone. I tailor it to your needs that best fit your goals. I bring in CBT, DBT, psychodynamic and/or spirituality where appropriate and necessary. We'll laugh too ;)

Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are my two primary methods. I often provide assignments to complete for next session such as worksheets and journal.
