I approach counseling primarily from an approach called AEDP. The first thing to know is, I enjoy it. Beyond that, it's highly relational, a profound resource for healing trauma, it's empowering, and it's relentlessly curious.

I like to imagine therapy as going on a walk. Along the walk we'll find some parts of ourselves who may be hurting, some parts who may be protective, and other parts who might just hold the keys to our healing.

My specialties are mental health concerns (like depression and anxiety) and addictions or unhealthy relationships with substances. I am EMDR trained and work with trauma and negative memories. I do individual therapy with adults and older teens.
