I utilize both verbal and somatic therapy. This means that sometimes instead of verbally processing, we will go into a meditative body-centered process in which you allow your body and the sensations and feelings that arise there to lead the way.

I take traditional cognitive-behavioral therapy (which focuses on changing thoughts and feelings) a step further by using schema therapy which identifies and challenges the beliefs or schema which produce the thoughts and feelings.
