As a queer, neurodivergent therapist, I especially enjoy working with clients who are exploring identity, navigating life with multiple diagnoses (including Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, & ADHD), and building resilience after trauma.

My framework is relational-cultural theory, which focuses on empowerment and strengths-based change, while valuing the impact of culture and trauma in our lives. In my practice, you are always in charge of your own therapy.
I work primarily with clients who struggle with depression or trauma related to their past. The majority of my clients are motivated, individuals who want to better understand how their past has impacted them.

I use an integrated therapeutic approach. I often use Narrative & EMDR. In your first session, we will explore what brought you to therapy before deciding the most appropriate ways to help you make progress.
delve into your past, present, and future, as well as practice mindfulness, breathing, expressive arts, and somatic techniques. We will use somatic and parts therapy to build tolerance and acceptance of your emotions and inner parts.

I aim to help you identify and feel emotions as they show up in the body, and I use parts work as a way to identify root causes and effectively manage your inner critic. What we resist persists, so practicing acceptance can also help heal.
Explore that many parts of you, including the inner critic. Create clarity in your mind. Make room for joy and adventure. Find meaning in pain. Identify and experience emotion. Connect with your body. Prioritize curiosity. Increase felt belonging.

I focus on connection to self and others. I utilize attachment theory to explore family and personal relationships. Additionally, parts work and sandtray are techniques used to identify aspects of self and process pain and healing in those parts.
Through our collaboration together you can learn more about yourself, share some laughs, and gain some skills. Let’s work together to help you thrive!

My hope is to give folks a place to safely explore and connect with their authentic self. In sessions I like to engage folks in mindfulness and body-oriented/somatic techniques. I am EMDR trained and enjoy utilizing this tool with clients.
