My approach is very relational and strength-based. I work hard at establishing rapport and trust. I draw a lot from feminist and multicultural psychology. I often provide psycho-ed about self-compassion and challenging automatic negative thoughts.

I am very collaborative and bring into the space whatever the client and I identify as helpful for their growth, since therapy is not one size fits all. That may look like role playing, journaling, "homework," or processing past/ current events.
