My approach is to engage clients by first getting to know them and their needs. I practice by building a strong empathic connection and a safe space for you to explore, increase self-awareness and implement behavioral changes.
I help people navigate relationship issues, life transitions, career and academic goals, increase pleasure and mastery, and feel more confident in their everyday lives.

I'm very active in session. I will share my thoughts if you would like to hear them and I will ask permission to challenge the thoughts/fears that may be getting in your way. Therapy doesn't have to be serious all the time either; Dark humor is OK!
Balance exploring your symptoms with the connection these might have to deeper, more profound concerns. Often our distress stems from or feeds into life’s big questions that we all face – meaning, purpose, isolation, freedom, responsibility, death.

I intentionally choose not to shy away from the darker, scarier, uglier parts of life with my clients. At times, life is painful and messy. As much as we might want to avoid the pain and mess, people are much better off trying to embrace it.
