In session, you will feel encouraged and supported, but you will also be appropriately challenged. These challenges may cause you to feel uncomfortable, but it is important to remember that, through discomfort, comes change.
Collaboratively determine goals and how we will approach them. Begin by understanding who you are and how you've become who you are and then focus on how to be who you want to be in your life today.

I work primarily from psychodynamic and family systems perspectives. I believe that our earlier experiences shape us but don't define us. Making sense of these experiences allows us to make changes in the here and now.
Confront challenges and learn from the past to improve your present and future.

I am just as committed to the therapy process as my clients are.
Revealing what motivates our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can unlock renewed self-awareness, leading to meaningful breakthroughs. This newly acquired knowledge can transform and enrich our perception of ourselves and of the world surrounding us.

I practice psychodynamic therapy. My approach is warm, non-directive, non-judgmental, and holistic, as it welcomes you as a whole, including your history, your background, your personality, and your embodied experience.
Together we will explore your childhood, past, and present. Learning more about who you are is essential for being able to challenge the difficulties that have brought you here. Together we will work to make you stronger, happier, and empowered.

I use a variety of approaches using talk therapy, explorations of your childhood and your past, and a variety of art therapy techniques. I like to find out what your interests are and incorporate that into your sessions (art, music, books, etc).
