My foundation is in psychodynamic and relational therapy and I can draw upon other approaches (e.g., CBT, emotion-focused approaches) depending on what the client is needing. I strive to be flexible and adaptive to what clients are needing.

Clients should feel open to share their thoughts and/or feelings without any type of judgement. They should also feel like they are "being heard" with whatever challenges that they are facing. In addition, clients need to feel supported as well.

My use of practicing self-compassion. I don't think we can change without understanding ourselves, being kind with ourselves and then making a detailed plan as to what we want to be. We can only love ourselves into change, not hate.
