I come from a Person-Centered approach, meaning that I view the client as the expert on their own experiences. I prefer to let the client guide the session. I might have things to say here and there, but I start out by listening intently.

It's important to know that the sum of our experiences is what brought us to today, but beyond that the challenge to acknowledge accept and act can be difficult. Regardless, it doesn't matter when you start, it just matters that you start.
