I deeply believe in the mind-body connection, so I use my psychology background paired with alternative healing modalities such as healthy diet, exercise, natural herbs and supplements, nature, energy work, and yoga to help people.

Outside of EMDR therapy I typically use in trauma treatment with my clients, my work is grounded in evidence-based practices of Western psychology, while being heavily influenced by practices that are more characteristic of Eastern philosophies.

My approach is very relational and strength-based. I work hard at establishing rapport and trust. I draw a lot from feminist and multicultural psychology. I often provide psycho-ed about self-compassion and challenging automatic negative thoughts.
