I don't believe in a "one size fits all" approach. I believe that each individual is unique and different in their own way. I look to understand the person, their needs, past experiences, and culture when working with clients on setting goals.
Many of my clients are the children of immigrants, like myself. I enjoy helping people explore their own culture and gaining a better sense of their values. I understand how cultural issues can impact mental health and I have ways to help.

I enjoy using active techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I also enjoy using techniques aimed at helping you increase your awareness and acceptance, such as mindfulness. I am practicing under supervision by Rebecca Fitzgerald, LCPC.

I incorporate mind-body techniques, such as Brainspotting, to support the brain's natural ability to heal as well as interpersonal strategies focused on developing self-awareness, identifying emotions, and developing healthier relationships.
