Growth can only happen when we feel safe. I strive to create a judgement free environment that prioritizes curiosity and openness. I firmly believe that you as the client are the expert on your own life. I am simply here to help you make connections
Together, we will explore your thoughts and beliefs that cause you to react how you do. We will work together to develop your coping skills. We will work on processing trauma that triggers strong emotional reactions.

I enjoy helping my clients cope with anxiety, set boundaries, make decisions and reach goals. I use EMDR to help you reprocess trauma and use CBT to help you explore your thinking patterns and reframe them to help you be more successful.
Work to identify strategies and techniques that can begin to offer some relief. We will also begin to alter problematic/less functional narratives that negatively impact your life. Self-compassion is a skill that I work on with almost every client.

It is my responsibility to pay attention to the big picture- noting common themes that come up. Often concerns that we have present differently across different domains (work, home, etc.) but the emotional underpinnings and impact can be similar.
Work to better understand the issues that lead you to seek help, how they impact your life, how to find some relief in these problems, and what the root cause is in order to help you feel the confidence to overcome similar challenges in the future.

The intake process is used as a way to make sure you feel comfortable moving forward. The treatment plan looks different for everyone but she starts by asking what your needs and expectations are in therapy.
Together we will set goals and discuss ways to meet those goals. Some will be easy, while others more difficult, but you will get there. Therapy is about talking through your specific situation and getting you to where you want to be!

My goal is create a warm, safe place that is judgement free. I want you to feel comfortable and confident. Opening up isn't always easy but we will work through these difficulties together. It is okay to not always be okay.
