I hold a strong value in remaining non-judgmental and client-focused as you work hard to show up for yourself, your loved ones, your future, etc. I tend to pull from ACT for client sessions as we explore the present moment, values and acceptance.
I believe in building a therapeutic relationship to work on maladaptive behaviors, emotions, and thoughts. To help the client understand their underlying issues, psycho-educate on coping skills; boundaries, emotion regulations, and self-improvement

Focus on the issues, to understand and work on barriers that hold the client from achieving their goals to overcoming mental health. My approach is CBT, DBT, interpersonal development, skill building, and coping skills to build resilience.
We will explore boundary setting, regulating emotions, increasing your emotional awareness, improving your relationships, developing self-confidence and acceptance in your identities, and identifying values specific to your fulfilling life.

Therapy is not one size fits all. I approach therapy from a culturally-affirming and client-centered perspective. I bring my expertise with behavioral and relational therapies into the space and listen to your experiences to guide what is relevant.
