I am very down the earth. I feel like it's important to be a human in the room because I believe the therapeutic relationship is vital to feeling safe and healing. I truly care for my clients at a deep level, and will be your biggest advocate.
Work together to better understand the problems that lead you to seek help, how it’s impacting your life, how to find some relief in these problems, and provide you the tools to feel confident so you can overcome similar challenges in the future.

I make sure to always hold my clients accountable to the goals they set out in therapy. We will create the tools you need to solve any challenges you may face.
Explore how our daily lives are effected by our thoughts, sensations, history and patterns. We establish safety, and use that as a basis to do whatever level of work is appropriate and useful.

I work in a relational way with my clients to learn what their therapeutic goals are. I ask questions about your feelings, values, barriers, and inspirations.
We'll talk about any and all experiences that provoke feeling for you: relationships, fears, the past, the future, death, and/or the book you're reading. I want to know what matters to you.

I invite a lot of feedback on how you're experiencing therapy. This helps you practice direct communication, learn about what's happening for you in other relationships that goes unspoken, and helps make therapy more effective for you.
As a LCSW, I expect us to find humor and fun in our sessions, manage stressors, anger, and setbacks together, and foster acceptance and growth. I will provide compassion, empathy, and understanding in a nonjudgmental and open space.

I'll use trauma-informed care to understand how past struggles affect your current life. Through cognitive behavioral therapy, we'll explore how your thoughts, feelings, and actions interact, and work on improving them in a safe space.
