My use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. ACT helps you recognize where your thoughts become overwhelming and then find ways to take the power away from those thoughts. I also use mindfulness and the therapeutic relationship to promote healing.

Outside of EMDR therapy I typically use in trauma treatment with my clients, my work is grounded in evidence-based practices of Western psychology, while being heavily influenced by practices that are more characteristic of Eastern philosophies.
