My approach involves creating a non-judgmental and empathetic environment with my clients. I enjoy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Personal Centered Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

I work primarily from psychodynamic and family systems perspectives. I believe that our earlier experiences shape us but don't define us. Making sense of these experiences allows us to make changes in the here and now.

Many of my clients are the children of immigrants, like myself. I enjoy helping people explore their own culture and gaining a better sense of their values. I understand how cultural issues can impact mental health and I have ways to help.

I enjoy using active techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I also enjoy using techniques aimed at helping you increase your awareness and acceptance, such as mindfulness. I am practicing under supervision by Rebecca Fitzgerald, LCPC.
