My practice aims to create a humanizing and supportive counseling experience. I am not here to fix you but to give witness to your pain and journey with you toward better self-knowledge and holistic health.
We can work together to help you gain relief from emotional wounds from your past, clarity on your relationships, increase your self-confidence and skills, and create more space in your life for what is most meaningful.

I approach counseling from a trauma-informed lens, focusing on life experiences and how they impact our emotions, thought processes, and behaviors. My approach is also strengths-based; utilizing your strengths and building helpful resources together.
Identify your strengths, your goals and what tools and resources you have that will help you be successful.

I use client-centered approach to therapy which means that the focus is on the client as the expert and I am there to help them identify their goals and support them on their journey. I use education and resources to help clients feel empowered.
Explore your life experiences and relationships in a safe, non-judgmental environment to uncover underlying patterns contributing to your pain/issues. Then we will work towards making SMART Goals and exploring coping skills and tools.

My approach involves identifying and acknowledging what is at the root of the client’s concerns/issues. The goal of therapy is to help clients learn how to identify and change their destructive or disturbing thought patterns to help encourage change.
Work to identify strategies and techniques that can begin to offer some relief. We will also begin to alter problematic/less functional narratives that negatively impact your life. Self-compassion is a skill that I work on with almost every client.

It is my responsibility to pay attention to the big picture- noting common themes that come up. Often concerns that we have present differently across different domains (work, home, etc.) but the emotional underpinnings and impact can be similar.
