We will primarily engage in talk therapy through a variety of different lenses and treatment modalities. My diverse training background allows me to integrate various therapeutic strategies into the counseling process.
There will likely be laughter and tears, difficult conversations, "Aha" moments, and a challenge to be honest with yourself. We will connect to create a calm/safe space. You will re-learn confidence, re-train unhealthy attachments and learn coping.

I treat trauma through the lens of mind/body connection. I primarily use EMDR, which bridges the trauma stored in your body/mind/spirit to allow healing, CBT, which helps you identify and replace unhealthy thoughts, and DBT to teach coping skills

My approach is trauma-informed and relational. This means I explore how one's past can impact one's present. Most of all, I am captured by the stories people share and use them to help clients understand their lives in greater detail and context.
