I use humor when appropriate and don't assign random "homework" just because in therapy - I do however recommend activities, books, and podcasts for use in between sessions when appropriate and specific to a client's goals.

I'm process-oriented, and enjoy when issues come up organically. We have a framework of goals of our work together but I enjoy to allow the time and space for issues to come up and address them as they come up.
