A person who comes to me for therapy is having problems related to their emotions (ie. anxiety, depression); relationships and self esteem issues and whose goal is to work in therapy on developing strategies to deal with these problems.

My approach is eclectic. We will have a conversation together about what is troubling you and I will respond with what I think will help you understand yourself and move forward free of the obstacles that brought you into therapy.

I use a Solution-Focused approach, this approach allows us to discover what your desired outcome is in therapy. Your desired outcome is the change you're hoping to accomplish. From there we can explore the available pathways to achieve that change.
I allow clients to discuss whatever they are comfortable sharing. I like to collaborate with my clients and establish goals, based on the reason they came to therapy and other issues the client may not be aware of but, could be hindering growth.
