As a psychotherapist my role is to provide support, empathy, hold space, and challenge you to empower and outgrow your past self. You are the artist of your own life. Don't hand the paintbrush to anyone else.

It's unique to each person. I don't use the same skills or approach with everyone. I tailor it to your needs that best fit your goals. I bring in CBT, DBT, psychodynamic and/or spirituality where appropriate and necessary. We'll laugh too ;)

I don't think therapy has to be overly formal or strenuous to be effective in creating change. Spending sessions talking about and practicing what makes you feel good can guide you towards healing.
