My mission is to help you feel confident, equipped, and in control of how to manage your self-talk, anxiety, stress, and mood. I am trauma informed, meaning I put the client and their emotional wellbeing first.
The goal is to create a comprehensive plan for setting and achieving goals; help to facilitate behavioral change; assist in helping to establish and maintain relationships; and assisting in enhancing client's effectiveness and coping.

My approach depends on the needs of the client with an emphasis on the Person-Centered and Solution-Focused Approach. With children, I prefer to utilize play-focused modalities including play therapy and sandtray therapy. EMDR is also available.
Talk. Discuss. Explore. We will find ourselves on a journey to discover what was, what is, what's necessary and unnecessary, and WHAT, if anything, you are able and WILLING to do about it.

It's important to know that the sum of our experiences is what brought us to today, but beyond that the challenge to acknowledge accept and act can be difficult. Regardless, it doesn't matter when you start, it just matters that you start.
Start with the intake phase, which I learn more about you and what you hope for, as well as gather historical/familial history. Then, we talk more about your goals in-depth and I offer ideas about treatment. Then we get started on your therapy path!
