In sessions we will use dialectical behavior therapy techniques and cognitive behavioral techniques. I also utilize a lot of existential therapy techniques which focus on improving self awareness, exploring self identity and patterns of choice.

I find that being structured, goal-oriented, and thorough leads to a powerful change for the individual. My theoretical preference is dependent on the individual. However, I tend to combine behavioral, cognitive, and psychodynamic perspectives.

I use the Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) approaches coupled with Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) exposure therapy techniques to treat emotional pain and distress associated with negative thoughts & feelings.
